The nrWavegenPDCCHConfig object sets physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) configuration parameters, as defined in TS 38.211 Section 7.3.2 and TS 38.213 Section 10 .Use this object to set the PDCCH property of the nrDLCarrierConfig object when configuring 5G downlink waveform generation.

So, to let UE know where to search its DCI , a new concept of Control Resource Set (CORESET) is introduced in 5G/NR.
